What stands out is a lifesaver, and something you might not have known you wanted until you did! That is of course, a keep warm feature. The number of times in a week I turn on a kettle, only to wander back into the room and reheat it is embarrassing. This feature allows you to boil the water ahead of time so it’s ready when you are.
Also worth noting, a heating element is concealed inside the pot, paired with a removable scale filter to improve the lifespan of this kettle against corrosive scaling. A window with liter capacity shows you just how much water you’ve got left, too. All around this is as close to a ‘smart’ kettle as you can get, if ever there were such a thing. That being said, it’s got a higher-end price tag. If the features and water capacity are a good fit for you, this might be your best electric kettle yet!

It’s operated by a simple paddle switch, making it a n ‘on-off’ only electric kettle. It’s also double walled, so you don’t have to worry about scalding your fingertips on it either. While it’s a practical kettle, it’s more or less best suited for one or two tea drinkers at once. It has a faster boil time thanks to its smaller size, too.

It’s a smple on or off switch, with a button-press handle and that’s more or less everything there is to it! So that begs the question, why should you buy this simple electric tea kettle? It’s the only one I’ve reviewed that provides the best value for the most basic function, that is, boiling water.
You’ll get 1 liter of boiled water in as little as 4 minutes, which is its sole function. What it does not deliver in extra features, it makes up for with a low price point. It isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, though. This kettle has no insulation, meaning that your water starts cooling the second it’s done boiling.
